The four non-negotiables of air weaving
Air separates hair by weight, not force. Short, fine hairs lift away on a stream of cool air; longer strands held under tension stay put. No teasing, no backcombing, no mechanical damage. Every clean air weave has all four of these — every failed one is missing at least one.

Even and firm on the lengths — flat, never slack — so only the light hair lifts.

The regrowth client
Grey blending with fine new growth at the hairline. Low elevation and cold air weave the baby hairs clear; only the lengths are colored, so her hairline stays soft and intact — protected, not thinned.
The compromised client
Over-highlighted, snapping mid-lengths. High elevation opens and isolates the broken interior, lightener stays off the damage and bond support is added — dimension returns while the broken hair grows out safely.

What is regenerative hair color?
Regenerative hair color is Kaizen Education's approach to lightening hair while protecting the hair that can't take another hit — fine new growth, baby hairs at the hairline and part, and broken or over-processed lengths. Instead of asking how light the hair can go, it asks how to lift it beautifully while leaving it healthier visit after visit.
What is the Air Weaving Method?
Air weaving is Kaizen's version of the air-touch family of techniques. A stream of cold air separates hair by weight: short, fine and fragile hairs lift away, while the longer, stronger strands held under tension stay in your fingers and receive lightener. Traditional air-touch uses air to soften a balayage; air weaving uses it as a protection tool, isolating new growth and broken hair before any product goes on.
How long is the Regenerative Hair Color class?
It is a six-to-eight-hour stylist intensive. The first two hours cover the philosophy, the air weaving technique and its four non-negotiables (tension, elevation, cold air and no pinching), hair-health awareness and the modern consultation. The rest of the day is hands-on air weaving with live, individual correction.
Who is the class for?
Licensed stylists and colorists — especially those who do grey blending, work with fine or thinning hair, or look after heavily lightened blondes whose mid-lengths can't survive another full saturation.
Do stylists learn to diagnose hair loss?
No. The class teaches stylists to notice changes in density and shedding, raise them with care, and suggest questions a client can bring to their doctor — while staying firmly in the stylist's lane. Stylists never diagnose, recommend medication or interpret lab results.
